We've done our best to create a Web site that anticipates and satisfies our customers' needs. With that goal in mind, we've compiled a list of frequently asked questions. If you do not find an answer to your question here, contact us directly to discuss your query.

 

HOW MUCH WILL MY DESIGN COST?

Due to the sometimes complicated nature of aligning design ideas, deadlines and creating the perfect final product, the expected cost of your design will be quoted based on your specific requirements. Once quoted based on your needs, this will not change. A 40% non-refundable deposit is required to commence work on your design - this covers some of the time that I will spend creating the first drafts of your concept. Full payment is required once you have approved your final design, and before your final ‘print ready’ files will be sent to you. I guarantee that I will work with you, until you are 100% satisfied with your artwork.

 

HOW LONG WILL THE DESIGN PROCESS LAST FROM START TO FINISH?

This depends on a number of factors: How complicated your design is, how long you take to review/proof your design, and how many rounds of editing occur. Generally, (extenuating circumstances and complicated designs excepted) you will have the first concept/proof of your design within 5 business days. I always work hard to respond to your emails on the same day that you send them (school holidays excepted) and return updated proofs within 24hrs of edits being requested.

 

I NEED PRINT & DIGITAL ITEMS CREATED, CAN YOU HELP?

Yes. I can create designs for use online, desktop publishing and professionally printed media. I have up-to-date knowledge of social media, web and prepress file requirements. I specialise in social media marketing, and I always stay on top of the many, many, changes to image sizes that Facebook likes to throw our way!

 

WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE THE FIRST CONCEPT?

That is completely fine! I will work closely with you to bring the design around to exactly what you want. Sometimes there can be a ‘creative difference’ or miscommunication between a client and myself. The key to correcting this issue is to speak up and let me know exactly what you do and more importantly don’t like about the originally supplied concept. Be as specific as you can - even providing a rough sketch can be incredibly helpful to align our ideas. I will not be offended if we have creative differences; I am working with you to provide the design that you envisioned.

 

CAN I GET A REFUND OF MY DEPOSIT IF I DO NOT LIKE THE INITIAL DESIGN SUPPLIED?

Unfortunately no. The initial deposit is to cover my time (like an hourly rate) spent on creating concepts of your design. I cannot after all afford to work for free! I will however work with you to reach a mutually agreeable arrangement to move forward or to end our working arrangement if this is what you wish.
